Creativity by its very nature is expressed in many different forms.
Sometimes we think and say that we are not creative. But that is simply not so!
Too often, people mistakenly believe that if they are not especially gifted or mastered in the traditional art forms then they are not creative. Yet Creativity by its very nature is expressed in many different forms.
So what if you aren’t a professional dancer, superstar singer, musician/songwriter, couture designer, best-selling novelist, or prolific artist? This does not define or limit your ability to be creative in a thousand different ways. Five minutes on Pinterest or Etsy can spark an idea within us that we never even knew existed. It is when we dare to release our fear and inhibitions that we can let our inner muse guide our creativity.
Look for new outlets to develop your own Creativity today. Delight yourself with the ways you can solve a problem, express a thought or emotion, or communicate an issue that you are passionate about. Put your own twist or spin on it. Enjoy your process. Don’t worry about anyone “not getting it” or someone critiquing your creation. Let go of any harsh past judgements that have been blocking you from tapping into your beautiful creative reservoir. Surprise yourself!
It is when we dare to release our fear and inhibitions that we can let our inner muse guide our creativity.
