BUILDING YOUR BEST LIFE: At the beginning of the weekend, my fiancé and I had our “open wall” walkthrough of the new house. This is the home as it looked on Friday morning, just prior to the next round of inspections. We met with our GC/Foreman and did a literal walk-through of the property, while the expert told us everything we could ever want to know about it. We were encouraged to ask questions, and found it fascinating to learn not only about the specific materials used, but why the builder is so particular about what goes into each home.…

How do I know that I’m living the Dream? When I’m sitting in my cozy home office, recording a Sparkle Hour podcast episode with my beloved cousin and one of our hot shit dream guests, and I suddenly get a surprise drop in from my son… delivering me a gift of Venti deliciousness and $$! I have a million more reasons to be grateful and tons of evidence that I’m living my dream life, and I want that for you, too. Being a mindset coach can seem like a frivolous and fluffy profession; a joke, a sham, a hoax. I’m SUPER STOKED to share about someone who has almost always been a part of my life, but through the magic of Facebook we connected as adults and realized that we have an even deeper bond than just our family ties. My interview today is with my beautiful, brilliant and amazing cousin, Nicole Lewis-Keeber. YAY! She and I grew up on opposite coasts and only saw each other very sporadically as kids, on the few occasions our family was able to travel from Southern California back to my father’s roots in North Carolina. Here’s a snapshot of Nicole and the…

The funny thing about being known as a “happy person” or a “positive person” is that when (not IF) something triggers the ugly feelings to come up, or you are having a rough day, or you just want to hide yourself away from the rest of the world for a hot minute- you tell yourself that you can’t do that. Or maybe someone, well-meaning or otherwise, tells you that you can’t do that. Somehow, somewhere along the path you were told or shown that it’s not OK to not be OK. Somehow, somewhere along the path you were told or…
