My obsession with pineapple and smoothies took a gloriously green turn this morning with this beauty! It tastes like what a heavenly tropical paradise should feel like (minus the humidity & sand). Sweet and a teensy bit tart, Exotic & refreshing! Here’s what I used: 2 slices fresh pineapple 2 fresh kiwi fruits, scooped 1 leaf fresh green kale, stripped About a cup of fresh orange/pineapple juice blend (you can use cold coconut water if you want to cut back the sugar from juice) Blend & Enjoy!

TRUTH: I love to cook and have always enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen. Sometimes I will get an idea of different flavors that I want to pair together, and I just go for it. Usually it works out really well and I have a happy honey enjoying his dinner! Sometimes, though, I honestly just want to have a nice meal for the two of us that is fancy enough to taste interesting, healthy and fresh but NOT take hours to prepare. I want to try something that is different from my few go-to favorites, but won’t require me to hunt…

After back-to-back weekends of seemingly nonstop partying with friends & family, my body has had just about enough with the heavy foods, desserts, and more than a few adult beverages. I just felt kinda bleh and gross and dull. Can I get an AMEN? I don’t love the idea of a “cleanse” but I do LOVE to have a hard reset to put my system back on a course that makes me feel good and happy and whole. I created a neat little smoothie that’s green and sweet and wonderful that does just that! Here’s my recipe: 1/2 ripe banana…
