Rad Recipes: Super Simple Snack Rolls (V, VG, GF, P)

Healthy snacking throughout your day is a great way to keep your energy up and your blood sugar stable.  Here’s a SUPER SIMPLE snack roll-up that is tasty, fresh, and portable.  Enjoy!

Start with:  Flour tortilla (white or whole wheat) OR  Spinach tortilla OR  Vegan/Paleo/Gluten-Free Spinach wrap

Spread the wrap with: Cream cheese (regular or flavored) OR Hummus OR Avocado (mashed)

Layer on your choice of Veggies: Romaine lettuce, Baby spinach, roasted red peppers, shredded carrots

OR Layer on your choice of Fruit: Sliced apples, sliced strawberries, sliced bananas

You can even do dessert-like versions to calm a sweet tooth.  My sweet favorites are tortilla + peanut butter+ sliced banana + honey, or tortilla + hazelnut/chocolate spread + sliced strawberries. 

So many flavor combos you can play with, like spinach wrap + avocado + rotisserie chicken, or  whole wheat + hummus + roasted red pepper + lettuce, or  tortilla + cream cheese + baby spinach + sliced strawberries

Roll up tightly, slice into rounds (like sushi rolls) and enjoy!  Mmmmm! Snack-tastic.
