This almost tastes like dessert for breakfast! Bursting with fresh fruit and using a probiotic juice blend as the base, my tastebuds are happy and the flora in my gut get a healthy high-five too. 1 ripe banana, peeled 1 ripe kiwi, scooped 1 cup probiotic juice blend, such as Suja Organic Essentials Probiotic Fruit Juice Blend and enjoy! After back-to-back weekends of seemingly nonstop partying with friends & family, my body has had just about enough with the heavy foods, desserts, and more than a few adult beverages. I just felt kinda bleh and gross and dull. Can I get an AMEN? I don’t love the idea of a “cleanse” but I do LOVE to have a hard reset to put my system back on a course that makes me feel good and happy and whole. I created a neat little smoothie that’s green and sweet and wonderful that does just that! Here’s my recipe: 1/2 ripe banana…

Sometimes living life in a bigger body has it’s challenges! Too often we are made to feel as though enjoying good health, practicing self-care, and a modeling a lifestyle of wellness is only for the thin, the athletic, and the fit-and-trim… but I want to let you in on a (big) little secret: It’s just not true. Over in The Cocoon, ALL are welcome. Together, we get to disrupt the stereotypes of what it means to be healthy, what it means to be beautiful, what it means to be sexy and strong. We have fun moving our beautifully abundant bods.…

Life’s journey has many twists & turns, peaks & valleys, sparkles & shadows. Some days are filled with sadness and tough moments, and it is OK to feel them. It’s normal. It’s necessary. To feel all things, even the unpleasant, even the painful, this is what makes it possible for us to truly relate to one another in the times of greatest need. To comfort one another. To sit quietly beside each other. To simply be. If you have feelings of sadness today, know that you are not alone. You are allowed to feel what you feel. It’s Okay.
